- Compassionate and Professional Team: Many reviews highlight the caring and kind nature of the staff. For instance, Caroline and her team are praised for going "above and beyond" and for being "so lovely & kind and a very clever lady," which is invaluable during stressful times for pet owners. The emphasis on clear explanation of procedures, both before and after, demonstrates a commitment to client education and reassurance.
- Dedication to Patient Care: The commitment to the patient's well-being is evident in the detailed care provided, such as the support given to Minnie (a Chihuahua) before, during, and after surgery, including follow-up advice.
- Personalised Service: The example of Laura, a team member, picking up a sample for a client who had recently undergone surgery themselves, showcases a thoughtful and personalised approach to client service that extends beyond standard medical procedures. This level of consideration can make a significant difference to pet owners.
- Focus on Client Communication: While there was one negative review concerning communication during an end-of-life situation, it highlights the importance of clear, empathetic communication and the provision of options to pet owners, particularly during difficult times. A good veterinary practice strives to ensure owners feel supported and informed in their decisions.
- Modern Facilities (Implied): As part of the Vets4Pets network, it's reasonable to infer that the Brighouse branch has access to modern veterinary equipment and practices, allowing them to offer a wide array of services.

Vets4Pets - Brighouse Reviews
Caroline and her team have gone above and beyond to ensure my little girl Minnie (Chihuahua) has had the best care before, throughout and after her surgery. Amazing support & advise given - surgery procedure fully explained before and after.A special mention for Laura who lives very close to me - knowing I had just had surgery myself she called and picked up a sample for Minnie - really thoughtful.Caroline is just so lovely & kind and a very clever lady made it all a bearable at such a tough time ❤️
Mar 14, 2025 · Natalie OrrosUsed for years never again . Disgusted by their unprofessional attitude at the end of a 23 year old cats life . My cat had a broken foot ( very obviously ) following clipping a car . He had been a frail poorly old lad but feisty for several months and now he had a broken foot to boot. Instead of explain professionally and tolerate me wanting to call my daughter to say her goodbyes they wanted the job done . They were rude and unnecessary and payment is the only thing I could say was the priority .I left against this medical advise - medical advise consisting of immediate death ! My cat said his goodbyes calmly at home , had some cuddles and licky treats (that he enjoyed) . I called a second emergency vet to explain this evening . We were seen and talked through the options . We made the same decision, not under duress this time and in a calm settled manner and in the same room as our cat who slipped away peacefully . As owners the professional advice and the explanation of our options ( & options that did not limit to a single option!) was invaluable despite the second bill only coming to twice as much for 10 times the service and time .Disgusting service
Feb 01, 2025 · Andrea EnglishAdvertises 7 days a week service on exterior of building. Recently closed on Sundays, with tape over the Sunday hours on their doors. Now also apparently closing every other Saturday. Website still shows open until 6pm Saturday but closed. Will be moving to Birstall.
Jun 07, 2025 · MikeFab service from the ladies on the desk to the vet. Very helpful and all absolutely lovely. My dog was at ease from start to finish and even happy to have her jabs. Highly recommend.
Feb 25, 2025 · Sharron FouldsThe staff were really polite today! The girls were amazing and super helpful. The Vet we had was great too. She befriended my grumpy & snappy old pooch, and made my little kittens first trip to the vets fun and less nervous for him. Safe to say both my boys absolutely loved their vet today.
