Parklands Veterinary Group, Dungannon Reviews
We took our very sick dog to several vets who struggled to help our dog buddy due to it being the weekend. His health deteriorated rapidly and I nearly lost him several times that morning trying to find a vet in the mid ulster area. Parklands saved his life. The team including Rachel, Shannon, Clare and Liz were incredible. The level of care and the effort they put in to save our dog was unbelievable. The cost for all tests and overnight care was a fraction of what we paid for a consultancy and bloods in Belfast Vet Now. We have moved our vets to parkland and are here to stay for the foreseeable. Thank you
Apr 07, 2025 · Kieran McCannI took my cat there who had trouble urinating. At first they tried to flush out kidney stones. He spent 3 days there. They said they couldn't flush the stone out and needed surgery. They wanted to remove the stone from the bladder. They performed the surgery and said that there were no stones in the bladder, only in the urinary tract and they didn't take them out. I paid over £1300 and they sent me a sick cat back home in worse condition. For the next few days I went to have the bladder emptied. I consulted another vet who told me that the stone could be pushed into the bladder before the surgery and removed, but now it was not possible to do the surgery again to remove it. Then they told me at Parklands Dungannon that the cat had to be put down because they couldn't help him. They charged an additional 200 pounds to put him to sleep. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. THEY DO EVERYTHING TO MAKE AS MUCH MONEY AS POSSIBLE. On the last day I met a woman there who came with her cat who had stopped eating. She said she had to pay 500 pounds but it was not known whether they would help the cat. I am sure they will tell her in the end that the cat had to be put to sleep. Last year in January they diagnosed my cat with lung cancer and they also wanted to put him to sleep but then Parklands in Cookstown helped us and the cat survived. This year they said it was not cancer but some crystals on the lungs. Don't trust their diagnosis, because you will suffer like I am suffering now.
