★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Clare Vets took care of my dog Eira for a UTI alongside her pain management for IVDD. They have always been kind and professional and even phoned me to bring her appointment forward an hour so she wouldn’t be suffering longer than absolutely necessary. Exactly the kind of vets I want in routine and emergency care for my three dogs and I have never had any issues getting an appointment they just squeeze Eira in when something unexpected happens.
April 25 · Aisleen HornerClare vets are unbelievable in the care they have provided all our wee pets over the years from our guinea pigs to our wee doggies highly recommend this amazing pet hospital ❤️Recently we lost our baby kiwi at only 11 months old at our referral vet specialist and I honestly cannot thank Clare vets enough for the care they provided her out of hours ( multiple times she always got into trouble ) as a tiny baby at only 4 months old and investigating the cause of her being so unwell, they made the referral process, and claiming process for all her medications so easy (especially at such a stressful time as we were in the process of getting our first house) and the care Kiwi received was just amazing and everyone was so so welcoming to her she became so popular with everyone ❤️Our little addition Bambi has just got her 2nd injections and the reception she got was so lovely and the vet staff remembering our baby kiwi was comforting alsoDefinitely 5 star service from the best vet team thank yous for what yous all do❤️
February 19 · Lou'sARTIf I could give zero I would. The most unprofessional service I have ever experienced. Cavehill staff are great just to start but their Ballyclare hospital is wild. Took our dog who had a cough in to get check. Told she was ok and they would give her a steroid but wanted to do bloods. We waited for the results to then be told our dog was at deaths door and would have been dead in 12 hours if we hadn’t have brought her in. Adviced she needed to stay overnight and get a drip. Obviously worried we called later that day to be told she was fine to go home and didn’t need a drip! Confused we challenged them and got given multiple stories that changed a number of times. We had asked for a quote before leaving our dog for the treatment they said was so desperate needed. Then charged us the same price and said oh that was the cost for other stuff and that what we got quoted was not for the other treatment. Only seemed interested in getting money from us and not intrested in our dog. Again changed the story a number of times and said they did extra tests for free but didn’t tell us about these tests that if they had would have at least put us at a little more ease. We lodged a complaint with the director who then has now sent us a letter saying we need to find a new vet and they won’t treat our dog in the future. Clearly don’t like being challenged and only interested in money.
July 16 · Colin Coogan-MaxwellMy two dogs and one cat have been patients with this practice since the were babies in 2016. I wouldn't dream of going anywhere else the service and staff are beyond excellent. We are all very happy
June 27 · kathlee feganBeen with Clare vets (cavehill) for a while but have recently changed due to lack of confidence. It seems now also that every treatment being sent to hospital in ballyclare who won’t even let you see your dog until you pay! Hence the reason they have glass protection on reception .It felt like a dog prison. My dog recently cut his paw in the park so I brought it to the vet. They quoted me in estimate for 2 stitches which was ridiculous. When I mentioned can u not staple them here in the new shop? After all your a trained vet and my dog is bleeding all over your floor. We knew then.We went straight to another vet and he got 2 staples there and then.Job done.
