Vets for Pets - Bishop Auckland Reviews
They have been so attentive and caring with my dog Lola who was diagnosed with mitral valve disease. Couldn’t recommend them anymore. The staff are fantastic!
Jul 12, 2025 · Charlotte JadeI've always had absolutely sterling service with Vets4Pets Bishop Auckland. I have 3 dogs, and all of their needs are expertly taken care of by the wonderful people here.I recently got a new puppy who came with some serious issues with his eye and his mouth. His eye had quite a large and deep ulcer. The vets took a look and told me the prognosis wasn't great, but they would do all they can. They sought a second opinion from an eye specialist, and promptly prescribed the recommended medication. I'm so pleased to say that we have managed to save his eye! There is some slight scarring, but he will live a perfectly normal life even with that. The vets, nurses, and even the receptionists seemed to really truly care about the wellbeing of my little puppy friend, Thor.I will never go to another vet as long as this one remains open. Please support this fantastic veterinarian surgery, they really are fabulous people. The prices are also VERY modest for the services they give.Thank you Vets4Pets!Of course, now I'm going to add a picture (or three) of my little wonky puppy 😍
Dec 12, 2022 · D WThe staff here are lovely, and quite a fan of our hoppy babies (rabbits haha) Barbara and Brian. They have all helped with a large amount of issues and without them, I don't think Barbara would be here with us today. Amazing service, amazing staff who are extremely knowledgeable.
Nov 20, 2023 · Sarah HauxwellSadly today we had to say goodbye to our lovely cat, I cannot thank everyone in today for their compassion. Everyone was very caring, kind and understanding. Thank you
Feb 27, 2025 · Kelly-Ann HinderLast year I would have given them 5 stars. However today if I could, I would give 0. My rabbit died during a very simple procedure of dental clipping. She was healthy and only a baby and I loved her very much. They said the procedure was a success but it was during the aftercare when she died. I know for a fact that they don’t just die after a simple procedure. She wasn’t being watched over properly and monitored afterwards which caused her death. I am extremely disappointed and concerned for future safety of other animals at this practice.Yes there are many good reviews, however I wouldn’t take the risk again personally. On top of that. I asked the vet if it would be possible to bring my other rabbit in to say goodbye to her sister and they said no. I know for a fact that it’s important for them to say goodbye so they can accept it. Now she’ll be waiting for her sister and she’s never coming home.If you own a rabbit! DO NOT bring them here please!!! For their safety!!!Photo of my beautiful baby that we lost below, because of the carelessness of someone who should have been watching her.
