Gordon Lochrie B.V.M.S M.R.C.V.S Reviews
This was my first and will be my only experience with this vets. The lady I spoke to upon arrival was extremely rude to not only me but also my 10 year old son. I was asked to call at 12:30 and received a friendlier response to my call, only to be given the wrong time to collect by cat after her operation. I was told to collect her at 3:15pm so at 2:37pm I received a somewhat rude and snotty phone call stating she couldn’t possibly have given me the wrong time. It was my mistake no one else’s. The only reason I used this vets today was because of the London cat care charity offering spaying. Regardless of whether I paid full price or paid a donation, I don’t expect that kind of treatment. My cat will be having follow up treatment at her usual vets. I’ll avoid this place for the future. Disgusting interactions to the public.
Apr 23, 2025 · Katrina CzartowskiAVOID! rude, condescending, unacceptable behaviour with the way you are treated by the receptionist and nothing is done about it absolutely disgusting behaviour. The vet himself is a good vet and your pet is looked afterbut could possibly use some people skills aswell, if you want verbally abusing go talk to the receptionist
Jul 09, 2025 · Ashley allenVery professional and caring vet. My dog who is usually very nervous relaxed immediately. Full and thorough check over. Jabs and claws cut. Would highly highly recommend to anyone seeking care for their animals
Mar 19, 2025 · Sarah CalverAbsolutely disgusting service from reception. Seems to be a running theme though with these reviews and seems to just be one of the receptionists that is getting these comments. No email, no website, can't message on Facebook privately, only option is to phone reception who hang up on you when you ask why they are being so rude to you for no reason. This tells me they are trying to funnel their correspondence so it is impossible to actually get a complaint or give feedback to the owner of the practice.Never in my life have I met someone so unhinged and I am baffled they hold a customer facing role.
Feb 11, 2025 · Rosie KellettRude receptionist. When pulled up on her rudeness! She shouts at you down the phone. And then put the phone down on you!! Call back!! And she has the cheek to say say she won't be spoken to the way I spoke to her. And then tells me to find another vet.Shame really as Gordon is a good vet. First vet I've taken my dog to where she was relaxed and wasn't stressed with a vet examining her!But I won't be taking her back for the sheer rudeness that your greeted with everytime you ring up for advice or to make an appointment
