Ashfield Veterinary Group - Halifax Reviews
Love this vets, couldnt recommend them enough. all 3 cats go and we’ve just got a puppy who has just started. that been said todays appointment with a ‘Jo’ was appalling, made my wife feel really uncomfortable and patronising. when the appointment was made we made sure they stocked her vaccination which they did and went in today to be told we had to do a complete restart. so that’s another 5 weeks we have to wait to take her out.Cheers Jo ✊✊
Oct 30, 2023 · Tyler JayWhen we first signed up with Ashfield, the service was great. When the clinical lead changed, they couldn't keep ANY staff, including the guy who was practice manager. Out of hours service was beyond a joke. One of our dogs died at home, so we contacted the out of hours service to sort her out. The vet stays at West Mount over night, yet we got told 'bring her at 9am'. Beyond a joke is an understatement. CVS are just money grabbers.
Dec 04, 2023 · Geoffrey ThompsonCalled to find out a total price for kittens 1st & 2nd vaccinations. I was told it was 43.50 for both courses. The receptionist even put me on hold to double check this when I asked if this price was definitely for two courses as it seemed a bit low. She reassured me 43.50 was the price for both 1st & 2nd vaccines. So I booked in, for a next day appointment. After the 1st vaccination took place and it came to the payment time, being the cautious person I am, I just re-confirmed again this was the price for both courses & and I wouldn't have to pay again in 3 weeks. WRONG. The full price was £91 ( this is quite extortionate considering other places charge 50-60!) and I would have to pay again for the 2nd vaccine. The receptionist bless her, did her absolute best to find out if there's anything she could do, because I was misinformed. Well, after speaking to management they decided they wouldn't stick to the initially quoted price. So I won't be bringing my cat back here, I was switching vets as my previous one let me down with a misdiagnosis. Was looking for a practice I could trust, but obviously this won't be the one! Shame as the vet seemed nice also!
