Battle Flatts Veterinary Clinic - Norton Reviews
My Mrs normally deals with them so not sure if this is a common issue but I would say the vet Sam was very nice on the phone. Having two phone calls with reception I really can't understand how they are in customer service. Extremely rude today on the phone today after I got a message to phone back in about test results. Instead of snapping she should have explained the process. On Thursday after a sample was sent for further tests I get a call out of the blue asking for payment, we had no invoice sent to us, it was a call out of the blue which could well have been fraud for all I know. I'm on a train so I'm not going to read my card details out to a possible fraud and in front of a train full of people. For a loyal client I'm surprised how this was dealt with.Vets appear ok from what I'm told and from my conversations with Sam on the phone.Admin needs a really good shake up. Don't ring demanding money without sending an invoice first, basic error in this day and age with card fraud. When someone calls for test results don't be sarcastic. Training required on the admin side.
Mar 31, 2025 路 Niki JohnsonMy West Highland White Terrier who is 14 years 5 months old has been treated at Battle Flatts (Malton) all of life and the service, care and attention that both he and I have received has been exemplary.
Jul 17, 2025 路 Hazel RobertsonSmall car park at the practice but there is a car park next door. Reception staff are very friendly and helpful. I can't comment on the veterinary care, fortunately I have not needed it yet.UPDATENeeded a vet on a Saturday, rang at 9am, got an appointment at 10.20. The practice doing Saturday surgery was a little further away (20 minute drive rather than my usual 10). Lovely, lovely staff. Diagnosed, treatment prescribed and general health check (ears, teeth, heart, chip etc) but above all they were kind.
Apr 13, 2022 路 Margaret ParminterWe took our dog today for a check on her dew claw injury, she is a very nervous dog and is quite nervous around new people and the vet today made her (and us) feel extremely relaxed and comfortable, even with the current pressures of new guidelines in place. she was efficient and thorough and when our dog was brought back out to us, she was wagging her tail and seemed very happy :) could not fault anything about the treatment and experience today! thank you so much 馃槉
Jul 01, 2020 路 Kirsty exley JacksonCould not fault Norton or Stamford bridge battle flatts for care of my tortoise who ended up being quite unwell unexpectedly. They offered a range of tests and also spent quality time giving us holistic advice for her including her diet, enclosure, after care etc. I鈥檓 really impressed with their enthusiasm and support and would highly recommend their services to anyone with an exotic animal.
