Regpets.com are committed to ensuring all registration documents are checked against their governing bodies for authenticity, permission to breed from and any false alterations that may be made.

To date, we have no found a reason to have a deposit scheme in place because registered breeders and charities have much less inclination to steal a deposit than the unscrupulous people who are not able to advertise here.

Finding the right home for your pet is not a task any genuine breeder would ever have taken lightly. The checks you have in place need not come under scrutiny by just listing on Regpets.com. However, if you do have a bad experience with a buyer when you use our site, we recommend you report to it to us as soon as possible, this ensures that we can address the issue formally, leaving you with peace of mind that the issue cannot repeat itself here.

We only allow registered pets and registered charities to list their pets, so we can combat stolen pets, scammers and unauthorised/backyard breeding. We want to give our audience a safe platform to find their next pet, without having to worry whether they will bring a stolen pet home or a pet that will be poorly or even pass away within days.

We check the pet with the relevant registration body to ensure the document has not been altered in any way and to ensure that they are authorised to be bred from.

Regpets is international. With gene pools shrinking globally and some breeds being harder to find than others, you may find you need new blood for the show bench or for your breed line. What better way than to be able to search abroad for your new pet? There is a network of registered approved couriers waiting to collect your new pet from anywhere in the World. Please note that some countries remain on the blocked list until we can verify the laws of that country protecting the welfare of pets in general.

Did you know? Regpets also promotes pets being allowed in the cabin of the aircraft with the courier and it is a little-known fact that although you cannot fly directly into the UK with a pet in the cabin, you can fly with a pet in the cabin abroad, so this can easily be utilised in transporting your pet to the UK.

The Listing Process:

The ability to add a listing comes once you have a verified breeder account. You will see many additional features, such as “Add a listing”. Here you will simply complete a form with all the details of the animal/litter you wish to advertise, add some photos and submit. -Hey presto, your advert is live (just remember your image sizes, there is a helpful tool we use HERE to assist you with this which you will also find a link to as you are completing the listing form).

The first listing is completely free and we run all of our listing packages on a time basis only,  so once you have purchased a certain amount of days, that advertising space is there for your registered pets.

  • A stud owner may wish to purchase a longer package so as to add continuum to the service they are offering.
  • A registered charity may wish to purchase longer packages again so that each time a rescue is sold they can continually show more rescues as they become available.

There are 4 packages available.

  1. 30 Day FREE single listing. This is totally free and available only once to all new registered breeders, stud owners and shelters.
  2.  30 Day single listing. £4.99 for 30 days listing. This is our recommended package for breeders.

Puppy/puppies – KC/FCI Registration document for mum

Older pet – Their own registration document

Rescue pet –Registered charity paperwork, clearly showing the charity’s Registration Number.

We accept paperwork from the main Governing Bodies such as GCCF/FIFE/TICA/WCF for cats and the Kennel Club or Fédération Cynologique Internationale (FCI) for dogs. We also accept registration documents from their affiliates.

You may place as many listings as you wish, however, all listings are monitored, so we can assess the difference between a whole litter being advertised individually and a breeding queen having excess litters in a year. Please remember to stay within the welfare guidelines of your Governing Body for maximum litters per mum, per year.

We check the pet with the relevant registration body to ensure the document has not been altered in any way and to ensure that they are authorised to be bred from.

Unfortunately, listing a pet without the relevant registration document won’t be possible. Most registration documents are non-tangible and, on a database, so a replacement should be very easy to come by. We ask that you request the replacement paperwork at which point you will be welcome to create a listing with the document.

To list your pet as an open stud he needs to be at least 9 months old and already sired a healthy litter. We believe this avoids any stress as studs can become quite stressed if ‘held off’ for too long.
